Abstract Background and Purpose Glioblastoma is the most poorest prognosis tumor of all carcinomas. Various factors contribute to deterioration for glioblastoma such as age, KPS, surgical removal level. The important poor are that half patients with have a KPS ≤ 70 at start treatment because progresses rapidly. There been no comprehensive reports on trends in visits time initiation glioblastoma. We analyzed actual clinical course malignant brain using receipt database aim raising awareness prompt diagnosis treatment. Methods Because this study included patient-visit transitions, we utilized data from JMDC Inc., which can be tracked through changes medical facilities. period January 1, 2005, March 31, 2022. Results Discussion 493 neoplasms brain, aged 18 years or older, who underwent surgery received radiation temozolomide. departments visited first before were general internal medicine, neurosurgery, followed by ophthalmologist, orthopedics, otolaryngology. date visit was 21 days neurosurgery 46 medicine. mean MRI 11 when performed site, 22 patient referred another hospital after MRI. This clarified situation tumors department besides neurosurgery. In order facilitate treatment, it necessary raise disease among where likely time.
